On December 7, the Adnan Saygun Recital Hall was the setting for
a concert by the talented young voice students of the Faculty of Music and Performing
Arts, accompanied by pianist Sadakat Velibekova.
The hour-and-a-half program consisted of operatic solo arias and duets. Although these
young musicians are only in the early stages of preparation for their future careers,
their technical skill and heartfelt performances were a credit to their teacher, Pekin Kırgız,
as well as a delight to the audience.
