Orientation
Day for the incoming MBA class was held on September 24 at the Faculty of Business
Administration. After the welcome address, Master of Business Administration students
participated in the "team dynamics and communication" workshop offered by Zeynep
Girgin and Zahide Karakitapoğlu-Aygün, followed by the “emotional intelligence"
workshop directed by Dilek Cindoğlu.
A highlight of the day was a “parachute competition” directed by Yavuz Günalay. The
best parachute was designed by team members Haluk Demiralp, Cem Erkan, İnanç Gökyürek
and Didem Tan. All eight participating groups came up with quite successful designs. They
received congratulations at a reception held in the FBA Building, where second-year MBA
students and faculty members joined the incoming class.
