| Bilkent University Student Council President Ekrem
Oktay and Vice President Ayþe Mine Ergun represented Bilkent at the seventh International
Youth Leadership Conference held in Prague, Czech Republic.
Seventy students from many different nations attended the conference, a week-long forum on
world politics, law and international relations. The conference's theme was the
"cross-cultural exchange of ideas concerning the future of world leadership."
The program was specifically prepared to test the leadership skills of the participants
and broaden their social experience by introducing them to working within the context of
an international organization. At the end of the conference Ekrem and Ayþe Mine were
awarded certificates of achievement for their skillful representation of their university
and country, and their successful cooperation with their fellow attendees.
