Bilkent's Information Office for Prospective Students (Bilgi ve
Tanıtım Ofisi - BTO) is seeking new volunteers for its Student Guides Team. This
team of Bilkent students plays a major role in providing high school students and their
parents with first-hand information regarding all aspects of student life at Bilkent. The
student guides organize and conduct campus tours for visiting high school groups
throughout the academic year. In addition, they travel to education fairs held in various
parts of the country. Summer tours are particularly important in helping prospective
university students to make their decisions.
The guides' primary role is to talk about their own experiences at Bilkent. To enable new
guides to provide accurate general information about the university as well, experienced
guides will give training sessions.
Students interested in joining the Student Guides Team should apply to Ayça Kurgan at the
Information Office for Prospective Students, Room G-07 in the Engineering Building, no
later than October 19. Selected applicants will be
interviewed.
