week, the Bilkent University Environment Society (BUÇEK) went to
Arjantin Primary School in Çukurambar to plant trees on the school
grounds. The Bilkent Environmental Planning and Protection Unit
supported the effort by providing five pine, maple, cypress and oak
saplings. Although there were not many experienced participants, this
tiring but enjoyable task was completed in three hours, with the help of
little volunteers from the school.
The Bilkent and Arjantin
Primary School volunteers did a great job while also having fun together.
(Plus, the activity was like a workshop for those not experienced in
