 The
internationally known Israeli novelist Amos Oz visited Bilkent yesterday
and delivered a lecture entitled "How to Cure the Extremists." Mr. Oz,
who holds the Agnon Chair of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, is the
author of numerous books, including "Black Box," "To Know a Woman" and "Under
This Blazing Light." His lecture was attended by Bilkent students and
faculty as well as members of the diplomatic community in Ankara.
