On March 17, the Career Development and
Placement Center organized a day trip to the Picasso Exhibition in
Istanbul for students who participated in the recent Personal
Development Days seminars and collected a minimum of 20 points.
The 25 Bilkenters and
CDPC staff members who went on the trip were impressed by the Picasso
works exhibited at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum in Emirgan. In addition to
viewing the pieces on display, they had a chance to learn more about the
artist's life, his ideas on cubism and the way in which he created his
works. At the end of the day, everyone agreed that the exhibit had been
well worth seeing.
