GE100 Orientation, which aims
to introduce newcomers to campus life at Bilkent University, was successfully held last
week from September 7th to the 9th.
Being a one-credit class, in GE100, students earned points for the activities they
attended including workshops, movies, department introductions and sports activities. Each
activity was worth between 1 and 3 points. Overall, 15 different programs were offered
giving students the opportunity to choose programs that suited them.
In addition, booths were set up in front of the Odeon with clubs and communities offering
information. Representatives from approximately 27 clubs were available to answer
questions from those who were interested in participating. Many students took the
opportunity to join various clubs by filling out the forms available at the booths.
The activities of the orientation will end on September 16th with Radio Bilkent's open air
party at the grass field on East Campus beginning at 8 p.m.
