Beginning this semester, Bilkent University has a new Sailing and Yachting Club. Even though the club is only a few months old, it already has more than 50 members, including alumni. The aim of the club is to bring together Bilkent University students, faculty members, staff and alumni who love sailing or who want to learn about sailing. You will have a chance to meet the spectacular coastline of Turkey, sail around some of the most beautiful inlets in the Mediterranean and have an opportunity to learn and practice the art of sailing. The club welcomes people, who have never sailed but desire to learn, who have been sailing for years and dream of being part of a race team, and those who simply want to socialize with other sailing enthusiasts. The first sailing trip of the Bilkent Sailing and Yachting Club is scheduled for the 8th of December from Ankara to Göcek.
