The Physical Education and Sports Center has organized a Pilates Master Class
for you! The Pilates Master Class has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 19 at 6:30 p.m.
at the Student Dormitories Sports Hall.
If you have been searching for a new way to get fit, Pilates is a popular trend in fitness
today. This hard but efficient physical fitness system is the favorite of the 48 year old,
fit pop star Madonna. During Pilates, our body's core postural muscles, which maintain the
balance of the body, operate intensely. While doing Pilates, the deep torso muscles are
strengthened and consequently increased postural awareness results in the prevention of
back pain. In addition, Pilates functions in teaching awareness of the breath. Besides all
of these refreshing outcomes, when accompanied with a healthy diet, Pilates helps you to
lose weight.
