 Both the
men's and women's Bilkent basketball teams played against Hacettepe at the Main Campus
Sports Hall last week. Both teams played dynamic, fast-paced games, but unfortunately were
defeated. The women lost 84 - 50 and the men lost in a close game, 59 - 62. While the
men's game was very competitive, throughout the entire game, our women's team never gave
up their struggle against the very strong and experienced Hacettepe women's team. This
Thursday, December 21 at 7 p.m., the Bilkent men will play METU at the
Main Sports Hall. Bilkent players are depending on the support of Bilkent students,
faculty and administrative personnel, as well as family members of Bilkenters.
