Green Campus Tips

Turn your computer, monitor and peripherals off at the end of the day instead of leaving them on overnight. A typical computer left on standby overnight uses between 1 and 6 watts of energy. If every student on campus owned a computer and left it on standby at night, a minimum of 11,000 watts of energy would be used every evening! And that is excluding all of the faculty and other staff on campus!
