Announcement for Student Vehicle Stickers

Applications for vehicle stickers for the 2006-2007 academic year will be carried out in two steps as follows:

1. Students who are applying for a vehicle sticker for the first time will apply from September 25 to October 6, 2006. As of October 9th, vehicles, which do not carry any vehicle sticker, will only be allowed to enter the campus by submitting an identity document and obtaining a "visitor vehicle card."

2. Applications for renewal of students’ vehicle stickers may be submitted from October 9 through the 31st. Stickers for the previous academic year will expire on November 1, 2006.
In order to obtain a valid sticker for the new academic year, students are requested to deposit 75.00 YTL at the Accounting Office (E Building, Ground Floor) and fill out a sticker application form available at points indicated below.

Three documents are necessary for an application:
A Bilkent University Student ID card, a driving license and vehicle registration papers.
Points of issue:
1. Main Campus: A (FEASS) Building, Room Z-51
2. East Campus: ‘N’ (BUSEL) Building, Office of Security
Hours: 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.- 4 p.m.

We would like to remind students who had their vehicle sticker suspended after reaching the violation points limit last year, that they are required to attend the orientation program organized by the Traffic Committee and pass the test given at the end of this program before they can obtain a new sticker for this academic year.

We wish all students a successful academic year and safety on the roads.
