Voices on Campus... Voices on Campus...
Voices on Campus...

For the first time at Radio Bilkent, three women hosted a program to talk about anything and everything. Their show is more than a radio program - it is like a daily conversation shared with friends about campus life. Every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Erken Teşhis welcomes their listeners to a delightful program.

Let's learn more about the three women who are Erken Teşhis’ DJs and who are close friends outside of the show. Deniz Mat (IR/IV) began working at Radio Bilkent in 2004. For a while she produced the cinema program Alt Yazı. She loves music, but she cannot sing or play an instrument, so she has chosen to be a radio DJ as a medium for sharing her love and knowledge of music. Didem Taşar (IR/IV) began working at Radio Bilkent 3 years ago. In that time, with the exception of a semester exchange abroad, she has presented Alt Yazı. Like Deniz, she loves music and talking, and being a DJ is an excellent leisure activity for her. Moreover, Didem wants to pursue a master's degree in Communications. Who knows, maybe she will be heard on national radio in the future? Alev Tulga (MAN/III) is the third member of Erken Teşhis. She began working with Radio Bilkent in 2004. She also loves music, and is enthusiastic about being part of Radio Bilkent.

Erken Teşhis is the first program at Radio Bilkent to be presented by three people. In this enjoyable two-hour listening journey, topics are chosen because they are the topics young people discuss in their daily lives. Moreover Deniz, Didem and Alev, take their tape recorder and walk around campus to ask people's opinions and views about the topics they discuss on the show. They choose people at random and use the interviews during their program. Their goal is to make the program more colorful by including listeners' views, but even they are unable to hide their surprise at the answers they sometimes receive. They have noted that at Bilkent, there are many different people and different ideas. For example on the topic of Yonja.com, and what kind of Yonja message from a stranger is worth answering and even worth meeting someone over, they encountered many interesting answers.

What's more, when you are listening and have more things to say about the topic, you can knock on Radio Bilkent's door and join the program. Erken Teşhis is presenting the most interactive program on Radio Bilkent. When you tune in to the program, you may feel like you have just dropped in to chat with friends.

Last but not least, do not be fooled - this is not a "girly" program. It is a program presented by three DJs, who have many different ideas to share, who are different from each other and who love to talk. So be a part of the program and don't miss the opportunity to share your thoughts when they stop to ask for your opinion on a topic.
