A Club for Everyone |
The final list of the Student Clubs at Bilkent University has just been
released, and the clubs are as diverse as the student population here at Bilkent. With
over 90 clubs, everyone should find at least one they can relate to. After all, they range
from career related ones like the Interior Design Club to hobby-orientated ones like the
Music Club and the Photography Club. There are also a few fun clubs like the Food Club and
the Juggling Club that seem interesting.
Student clubs are an important part of life at Bilkent University. They give students an
opportunity to socialize and meet their fellow students who share their same interests.
This is especially a good thing for exchange students or students from other parts of
Turkey who are not familiar with Ankara.
We also shouldn't forget that Student Clubs are more than just entertainment for the time
being. You can benefit from these clubs even after you graduate from Bilkent University.
Showing that you were an active member of a student club on your CV will show that you are
dedicated to that subject, instead of just saying you are interested in that subject.
Even if you don't have the time to dedicate to a certain club, you could always join the
club for your favorite soccer team to show your support. Or if you can't find a club that
you're interested in, you could always start your own club next year! The possibilities
are endless so take a look at the list below and see what your choices are.
