isil kutluayThe Feared One

Fear!

Fear has an uncanny ability to find you when you are alone, weak and desperate. It knows everything about you, as if it were a creature, a monster, a being with a mind of it's own. It can come in human form, as someone with the same physical features as you, but with a soul and mind that is unknown and mysterious. This is fear personified, an uncomfortable and unpleasant Yin to your vulnerable Yang.

Fear searches you out. It comes at times of isolation. It comes at times of paranoia. It comes at times of loss. It comes at times when you face unfamiliar situations. It waits patiently to bring out every lost memory; everything you have run from; everything you have pushed deep down inside, or didn't even know was within you. Fear knows how to draw these out from your very core! Scarily, fear may not bring with it a happy ending.

Are you brave enough to face the challenges fear will thrust upon you, most likely when you least expect it? Can you cope realizing your Achilles heel can be exploited by this unexplainable force? Will you ignore it, or accept it? Do you have the power to tackle fear before it changes who you are?

The answers lie within you and only you!

These are just some of the thoughts that ran through my head after watching "The Brave One." For those looking for a more traditional movie review, not a subjective description of emotions, Jodie Foster is remarkable in this movie! But, "The Brave One" did more than entertain. It made me think...feel...contemplate...wonder...

Farewell, stay tuned, and please, don't let fear change you.
