IEEE Xtreme is IEEE SAC's initiative for creating a worldwide programming contest for the organizations Student Branches. The competition is held over a 24 hour period. Supported by their branches, teams will be advised and proctored by an IEEE member as they attempt to solve a set of programming problems.
The 2008 edition of the contest will begin at 2 a.m., March 8. Teams will include up to three IEEE Student Members (StM) or Graduate Student Members (GSM).
