 The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering held its annual Graduate Research Conference (GRC), March 6. It provided an opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students to put forward their research work and projects to the Bilkent community and people from other universities and industrial organizations. This year, about 30 oral and 50 poster presentations were given. The best, as selected by a jury, were given awards by the IEEE Bilkent Student Branch. In the best oral category, Gülis Zengin, Sedat Nizamoğlu, and A. Özgür Yöntem took the first three places, respectively. In the posters category, M. Niyazi Şenlik, Onur Tanyeri and Elif Aydoğdu earned the top spots.
Just after the conference, Electrical and Electronics Engineering faculty members made presentations about the department and it’s research facilities and activities for prospective graduate students.
