102 Basic Design II, "Spatial Skin" Project Presentation
The FADA building looked like it had been taken over by aliens as Department of Interior
Architecture and Environmental Design students presented their full-scale "Spatial
Skin" costume projects. The aim was to create an understanding of personal space and
to visualize individual definitions of personal space, through the design of a
"spatial unit" that would fit on the students’ bodies. The project was
initiated by course instructors Dr. Ö. Osman Demirbaş (coordinator), Assist. Prof. Dr.
Çağrı İmamoğlu, Dr. Burçak Altay, Herbert Bassler and Nilgün Çuha.
