GE100 Orientation, designed to introduce newcomers to campus life at
Bilkent University, was held between September 8 and 11.
Students gained points by attending various
activities including workshops, movies, department introductions and sports. Each activity
was worth between one and three points. Overall, 15 different programs, under the name of
Turkish Mountains, were offered giving students the opportunity to choose programs that
suited them.
In addition, booths were set up in
front of the Odeon on the first day of GE100 Orientation with clubs and groups offering
information. Representatives from approximately 35 clubs were available to answer
questions. Many students took the chance to join groups they found interesting.
Orientation ended Thursday, September 11 with
Radio Bilkent's traditional Open Air Party on the grass field at Main Campus.
