Bilkentli Aslanlar Kulübü hosted President of Galatasaray Spor Kulübü, Adnan Polat on April 30. The seminar began with a memorial for soldiers who lost their lives in Diyarbakır last week.
The hour and a half long presentation gave Polat the opportunity to give information on current financial developments at Galatasaray, pointing out that a stable economy is needed for continuous success. He also thanked Galatasaray fans for their endless support before the start of a question and answer session.
Topics brought up by students were team players and their future at Galatasaray, the team's change in coaches, transfers that took place over the season and the tension between Galasataray and the Turkish Football Association. Polat addressed the ban placed on several players after a recent brawl that took place when they played Fenerbahçe, stating that Galatasaray did not start the fight.
Also talked about was the new Galatasaray stadium which is now under construction. It will be ready for the 2010/2011 season and is expected to provide significant income. In the end Adnan Polat thanked Bilkentli Aslanlar Kulübü for organizing the seminar.
