Rector's Cup Racket Sports Festival Comes to a Close

This year's Rector's Cup Racket Sports Festival hosted a number of contentious and entertaining games in its tennis, squash and table tennis tournaments. The final games of the table tennis tournament were played on April 27 and May 6 with 28 participants. Results of the tournament are as follows:

Men (Advanced)
1) Onay Urfalıoğlu
2) Emin Doğru
3) Orhan Arıkan
4) Ali Alp Akyol

Men's (Intermediate)
1) Bastian Lorbeer
2) Mustafa Gerdan
3) Kamil Cantonbul
4) Yavuz Nuri Ertaş

Women

2) Mücella Agün

Final games of the squash tournament were played on April 27 with 16 participants. Results of the tournament are as follows:

Men (Advanced)

4) Çağrı İmamoğlu

Men (Intermediate)
1) Phillip Lee
2) Z. Kocakavak

Men (Beginner)

Women (Beginner)

The final games of the tennis tournament took place May 15 to 17 with 26 participants in men's singles and women's singles categories.

In men’s single Levent Akdeniz had the trophy after very competitive game.

We congratulate the winners and thank everyone took part in the tournaments. The next tournament will be held in Fall semester.
