The Education Group and Communication-Organization Group of Bilkent University's Social Awareness Projects (TDP) prepared an education camp in Antalya that ran from May 8 to 10. It gave TDP members the opportunity to gain information related to their projects and strengthen bonds among volunteers. The camp consisted of three different seminars, along with a visit to Kurşunlu waterfall, and a boat tour and trip in Antalya.
The first seminar, on May 9, was by Gökhan Meriçliler, one of the presidents of the Young Guru Academy, who discussed the characteristics of a leader and the importance of leadership in the projects. Ahmet N. Taşpınar, a member of the Project Management Institute, gave the second seminar, where he laid out the fundamental steps of project management. On May 10, Nebi Acar, the Coordinator of Antalya's İzgören & Akın Consulting Firm, provided an interactive time and stress management seminar to wrap up the educational weekend.
After all of the seminars were over, TDP volunteers went into town and capped off the event with a wonderful, fun filled outing!
