Bilkent University's Main Sports Hall will be the setting of a pair's bridge tournament, November 22 and 23, starting at 10 a.m. There will be participants from 9 universities, including Bilkent, METU, Hacettepe, Anadolu, Ege, Akdeniz, Boğaziçi, ITU and Muğla. The tournament is a joint operation of the Bilkent Bridge Club and the Turkish Bridge Federation. Competitors who score in the top third among participants will pick up Master Points from the Federation. Also, the top five scorers in both "Buttler" and "Match-Point" categories will be honored with cups and medals. Burak Tunçbilek from the Bilkent Bridge Club stated that their aim is to win the championship while giving new players the opportunity to improve. After last year's 2nd and 3rd place performances at Akdeniz University's tournament, the Bilkent Bridge Club has high hopes as hosts for this year's event. Every Bilkent student is welcome to take part, or have a bridge-packed weekend as a spectator.
