 The Doctoral Colloquium on Operations Research and Industrial Engineering took place at the Mithat Çoruh Auditorium on November 20 and 21. Fifty-four graduate students from 17 various universities around Turkey participated.
The program informed graduate students of what to expect during and after their doctoral studies. PhD candidates also presented their research topics. Faculty members from Bilkent and METU spoke about making a research agenda, academic careers, the philosophy of science and research funds. Vice President of the TEKFEN Executive Committee, Assoc. Prof. Reha Yolalan also gave a speech about Alternative Careers.
