Attila İlhan, one of the most intellectual and outstanding poets of Turkish literature, was commemorated through a poetry reading organized by Türkçe Topluluğu last Wednesday night.
During the reading, Bilkent University students presented the most valuable and emotional pieces written by the successful poet: An Gelir, Ben Sana Mecburum, Üçüncü Şahsın Şiiri, and Pia.
The poetry reading was enhanced by a slide-show of İlhan's photographs and lines of poetry.
The hour-long event drew a large audience of people who came to show their admiration for the great poet.
