 The Dean of Student's Office Information Meeting was held on Tuesday, December 22 with the participation of the Dean of Students, administrative staff, the Student Council Executive Committee, student clubs and societies, Radyo Bilkent and Social Awareness Projects representatives.
The meeting aimed to enlighten the audience about the administrative operations of student related offices, and to inform various student circles about important issues on budgeting, protocol procedures, sponsorship, approaching media, and rules and regulations of student organizations. Speakers talked about the importance of taking part in student clubs, emphasizing that they are very effective in fostering students' nonacademic skills. Student circles also encourage support and sharing on campus.
The meeting started by a presentation of the administrative structure of Bilkent University, then continued with speakers from student representatives, Asst. Secretary General Oğuz Özbilgin, and Media and Communications Director Pınar Beşik, where they shared their experiences.
The meeting adjourned with a Q&A session.
