Useful Websites...Useful Websites...Useful Websites...

emirFor the last issue of Bilkent News this semester, I am with two worthwhile Web sites. The first of this week is one that is special for everybody who keeps their own site. What this site provides you with is free space where you can post your diaries, as much or as little as you would like, as often as you want, either publicly or privately just for you. Writing your diary or journal online is a wonderful way to help evaluate your life by putting pictures of those memorable moments. You can also write in your online diary, find your purpose, put some order to your thoughts, and meet new people.  You might use your diaries for a lot of different things, to keep a personal history, to work out issues in your life, to help yourself quit smoking or to get in shape. You can also post your own poetry or stories, and you may use this Web site, full of real-life stories of people from around the World, so as to read about other people's special times.

A computer virus is a program or code that can be transmitted as attachments to an e-mail or a software on Web.  Nonetheless, all viruses do not have horrendously detrimental effects on your computer. Some just stop your computer from working properly by slowing down your computer's speed.  Briefly, if you want to maintain your computer and keep it running smoothly, use this website to search for Trojans, Spyware, and other types of virus and threats online.  You should download a small plug-in to your computer before scanning your computer using this Web site online.  This Web site provides you with a way to debug your computer for free whenever you find yourself in need.
