IEEE Graduate Research Conference 2010

CancerThe IEEE Graduate Research Conference (GRC), organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Bilkent IEEE Student Branch, will be held on March 3rd in conference rooms at the EE building, ground floor. Graduate students of Bilkent EEE Department will present their research at the event.

Forty-eight presentations are planned to run in two parallel sessions. The speakers will present their projects and share interesting research outcomes, each followed by questions and answers. A total of six sessions will cover various areas of electronics including Communications, Signal Processing, Electromagnetics, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Photonics, Systems and Control, Robotics, and Networks and Nanotechnology. In addition to oral presentations, there will be two poster sessions, one in the morning and afternoon. The audience will have the chance to learn more about the details of the research by interacting face to face with the students.

In the last session, the Bilkent University EEE Department will introduce the educational and research opportunities it provides to young engineering candidates.

At the end of the event, the best three presenters are will be awarded by the Bilkent IEEE Student Branch.

The event will not only be a day full of knowledge sharing, but will also have an exciting full-day activity where each and every participant, including professional engineers from Turkey's most well-known companies and students from various universities, will make a journey to a world of science and engineering.
