On Sunday, 28 February, more than 40 Bilkent alumni in Washington met to commemorate Prof. İhsan Doğramacı. The dinner was held in the Divan Restaurant's private room, with guests Gündoğdu Akkor, Former Vice Rector of Bilkent University, his wife İnci Akkor and his son Gün Akkor (M.S.-EEE/99’). Gündoğdu Akkor and his son Gün shared memories about Hocabey. Guests were presented with a slideshow of Prof. Doğramacı's life. The event also allowed Bilkent graduates to reminiscence about their days at the university founded by Prof. İhsan Doğramacı.
