 Kerem Seyfi Yıldırım (CTIS/I) won first place in the Men’s sword style event during the Inter-university Fencing Competition. The tournament was organized by the University Sports Federation in Balıkesir from April 14 - 16, 2010. Yıldırım had also won first place in 2009 and second place in 2008.
“I've known Kerem for a long time,” said Halim Şener, coach and fencing instructor at Bilkent University for the past 16 years. “In addition to his academic success, he has always succeeded in sports. He is a disciplined and hard-working student. We appreciated his effort in successfully representing Bilkent University in the competition.”
