The Bilkent University School of Applied Technology and Management, Department of Tourism and Hotel Management started a project on Tourism Destination Management in Alanya.
Representatives from NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, Mr. Pieter C. Piket, Mrs. Lucette Roovers-Martens, and Erdinç Çakmak attended the event alongside Bilkent University Asst. Prof. Dr. Aykut Pekcan and Dr. Ýbrahim Boz, and Alanya Touristic Hoteliers Association Board Members Gülçin Güner, Hayriye S. Argun.
The first meeting is aimed at laying the foundations of future projects on the issues discussed. The aim of these meetings is to form a “Destination Management Organization” which can be specific to a selected tourism destination.
