 The stretch of land between Beytepe Village and the lake never looked cleaner this spring. The Young TEMA Society worked with the Housing Office staff to spend the last weekends of warm weather freeing the area of garbage. Some of the waste collected was sent to recycling. They cleaned up more than seven tons of waste from campus in an effort to increase social awareness, improve the environment, and make the university a better place to live. Participating volunteers said they will continue these activities in years to come.
