Join Bilkent University’s Ultimate Frisbee Team!

frisbee

The Bilkent Goats need more players to join its herd. Bilkent's ultimate Frisbee team is looking for new recruits for the academic year. The season has already started, but there is still room on this ultimate Frisbee team forpeople to experience the ultimate fun.

If you're wondering why on earth you should ever be playing this odd-looking game of tossing discs around, here are a few good reasons:

  • The most important aspect of a good Ultimate player is to be friendly and fair. Athleticism, technical and mental skills are also rewarding, but neither is as important as sportsmanship.
  • Ultimate Frisbee knows no discriminations like age or gender. Female and male individuals can and do play together during practices and while competing in tournaments. As mentioned before, all that it takes for a person to be a Frisbee player is a good attitude.
  • The good attitude of players reflects back to themselves with a greater interesfrisbeet to play. The practices are quite fun when there is good teamwork.
  • Like many other sports, Ultimate Frisbee improves your health, coordination and fitness, and helps you maintain them at a high level as you become more fit.
  • It's quite likely that you will get addicted to that disc after giving it a chance. No one we have known has been able to save themselves from the charm of it.

If you're convinced, we do our practices on Wednesdays and Sundays. Anyone who would like to play, watch or ask questions, please contact Seray Öztürk at serayo@bilkent.edu.tr
