 Cezmi Orhan and Zafer Gençaydın open their "Teaching and Learning" exhibit at the Bilkent Library Art Gallery on October 8. The fall 2009 season kicks off with the work of these renowned Turkish painters.
Cezmi Orhan opened his last personal exhibition in 2007. Born in 1965, he showcased his first exhibition in 1990 at the Ankara University Exhibition Hall and has since then participated in various mixed exhibitions. He is currently the director of the Ankara Kum Art Teaching Center.
Along with showcasing personal exhibitions, Zafer Gençaydın has also attended national and international cultural art events. He has won awards, written books, and published articles and reviews. Born in 1941 in Ankara, he taught art and art sociology at Hacettepe University and retired in 1988.
The Bilkent exhibit will run between October 8 and November 3, at the Main Campus Library from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
