The North American Bilkent Alumni meeting was held on Monday, October 12 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Alumni from all over North America, including those from England and Turkey, attended the gathering. During the conference there was a mix of speaker presentation and open conversation opportunities. The speakers were Karalyn Watson Bilkent Alumni Center North America Director, Mustafa Akan (IE/04’), Pınar Keskinocak (IE/91’) and İhsan Sabuncuoğlu, Chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering, as the keynote speaker. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu spoke last, and gave everyone an update on Bilkent University and the department, accompanied by a Power Point slide show.
