Volunteers Needed for Tree Planting Day
The Environment Club has organized a Tree Planting Day (Arbor Day) and invites all members of the Bilkent community to help re-forest the area near the lake between Main and East campus on Wednesday, March 24, at 12:45 p.m. Buses will take volunteers from the Table D'hote restaurant at 12:30 and 12:45 to the planting site and will return at 2 p.m. There will be beverages for the volunteers and Toon Time will join in the spirit of the day by showing "Ferngully - The Last Rain Forest" on Friday, March 26.

The club has organized planting days on campus for the past four years. In previous years, trees were planted in the valley between the Music Faculty and Main Campus and the area around Dormitory 51. Thanks to Mozart Cafe, Coca-Cola Co., and Toon Time for their help with this year's event. For more information, e-mail ctis@ug.bcc.bilkent.edu.tr.
