The newly-formed Bilkent Men's and Women's Ski teams took part in the Inter-Universities Ski Championship in Kayseri, on Mount Erciyes March 8-11, and several team members posted outstanding performances.
Although the men's team just barely missed finishing second in the alpine competition, Çağrı Bulhaz finished in fifth place and Kamer Özaydın finished ninth among 88 individuals competing.
The women's team finished sixth out of 23 universities and individually Selen Eşit finished 10th among individuals.
Because the teams are newly formed, the participants were not expected to place high, but the team members proved themselves to be truly promising for the feature.
