End of the road or just beginning? Commencemet is really both. Although it marks the completion of studies at college, it is called commencement because it is the beginning of a new chapter in life. For 1,464 undergraduates and 150 Master's and Ph.D. candidates, this new chapter will begin with ceremonies June 9 and 7 respectively. The ceremony time and place for each academic unit is given in the program below. For all undergraduates and Master's and Ph.D. candidates, attendance at rehearsals is required. Also, all graduating students who are participating in the ceremonies must wcar a cap and gown.
The cap and gown deposit is 100 million TL and scholarship students are required to sign a letter guaranteeing return. Caps and gowns may be obtained at the Alımlar Müdürlüğü Demirbaş Deposu (FEASS basement) from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. between May 17 and 21 or June 1 through 4. It will not be possible to rent caps and gowns on the day of the ceremonies.
Note: Please make sure you pay off your library, traffic, and dormitory balances before graduation or you will not receive your diploma.
