Limited Curbside Parking Allowed
The University Traffic Committee has decided to legalize parking along the Ring Road between the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (FADA) building and student dormitories. In recognition of the fact that construction of a new building on the Main Campus eliminated about 30 parking spaces, the Committee earlier this semester suspended enforcement of the no parking rule between the FADA building and the dormitories. Signs and road markings will be put in place soon marking the new on-street parking area.

Although the change will create more parking spaces, Committee head Dr. Ühsan SabuncuoÛlu points out that many parking spaces are usually available in the parking lot off the Ring behind the Physical Education and Sports Center. "We must try to use a parking lot that is just not being used effectively," he said.
