Republic Bike Tour a Success
On Wednesday, October 21, approximately forty-five students (twelve from Bilkent High School) and personnel started a special 75th Anniversary Bike Tour in front of the Main Campus Sports Center. Passing in front of a small lake, they went to the East Campus Sports Hall and returned to the Main Campus Sports Center in about 40 minutes.

The tour was not a race. Instead, it was a way of sharing and enjoying the celebration of our Republic's 75th Anniversary, and everyone enjoyed participating. Dr. Özkan Çakırlar guided the tour and also helped to organize it. At the end of the tour Prof. Erol Arkun and Dr. Hayri Ozkan gave everyone a nice t-shirt as a remembrance of the event. We thank everyone who participated in the event and hope to see them again next year.
