The first International Conference for Student Representatives will take place at ‚ukurova University in Adana from February 29 to March 5. Two students, Zeynep Köksal, Student Council Vice President (THM/2), and Gözde Doğan, FEASS representative (IR/3), will be the Bilkent representatives at the conference. Asuman Erbay, Bilkent Student Union Coordinator, will also be attending as a facilitator and workshop presenter.

The goal of the event is to bring university student representatives together for the exchange of ideas and information, such as how to foster a democratic environment in the universities. Students will be attending workshops, panels, and social activities during the week. Gözde and Zeynep are looking forward to representing the university at the conference and meeting student representatives from other institutions.
