Two Workshops on Offer
In March the Student Development and Counseling Center is offering two workshops that will enhance the quality of your day-to-day life.

Restructuring Cognitive Style

Very often, people are faced with the important question of how to manage their painful emotions and problematic behaviour. How we behave and how we feel are directly related to our cognitive, or thinking, style. Thus, it follows that we can better monitor and guide our behavioral and emotional reactions if we become aware of and control our thinking habits. If you are interested in gaining more knowledge about how your thinking habits affect the way you live your life, don't miss this seminar. Your participation will be certified, and will be a valuable addition to your CV.

Intimate Relations

Most people have difficulties with intimate relations at one time or another.

Problems they experience include initiating and/or maintaining a satisfactory relationship. If you want to learn more about how to begin a close relationship and make it work, be sure to attend the Intimate Relations workshop.

The registration deadline for both workshops is March 3 at the Student Development and Counseling Center on Main Campus. For further information, dial ext. 1785 or 1786.
