Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

Ben Ball's total ban of cell/mobile phones on Bilkent's campus is indeed draconian as he suggests. However, just like the library and computer lab bans, it still would not work until all cell/mobile phone users are:

1- no longer interested in gossip and chit-chat.
2- able to plan their lives more than five minutes in advance.
