Software Quest 2000, to be held on Thursday, April 13, will be offering the following prizes:
High School and Undergraduate projects
First Prize: $500 + Veezy Go (3 months) + Office2000, Visual Studio, Windows2000 software packages
Second Prize: $250 + Veezy Go (3 months) + Visual Studio, Windows2000 software packages
Third Prize: $100 + Visual Studio, Windows2000 software packages
Graduate projects
First Prize: Chatboard + Veezy Go (one year)
Prizes will also be given out at the Trivia Quiz, where three teams of three people will vie for top honours. In addition to pop-up gifts for the audience, each member of the winning team will receive an Internet package and IEEE membership. The following is the schedule for April 13:
1) 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: Project demos, public viewing, and evaluations, 4th floor computer labs, Engineering Faculty
2) 12 p.m.: "Software Development", a presentation given by a Microsoft representative, Room Z16, Student Union
3) 6 p.m.: Trivia Quiz and Awards Ceremony, Mithat Çoruh Auditorium
