Bilkent Prof Recognized for Research
Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Altay Güvenir, assistant chair of the Computer Engineering Department, has been named the winner of the TÜBİTAK-Hüsamettin Tugaç Foundation Research Award for 1999. The award is given to high quality research with technological innovation characteristics. Dr. Güvenir received the award for his research entitled 'Diagnosis of Erythemato-Squamous Diseases by Feature Projections Based Methods.'
