Minister of Tourism Lectures at Bilkent
Bilkent School of Tourism traditionally invites Minister of Tourism at the beginning of new each academic year to give the inaugural lecture. This year, Mr. Erkan Mumcu, the current Minister of Tourism, visited Bilkent on October 14 to deliver his lecture to students at all levels at the STHM and the VSTHS. Among the audience were Rector Prof. Ali Doğramacı and Vice-Rector Prof. Ümit Berkman. Numerous representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and Schools of Tourism were also present.

The speech was dynamic and interactive, and the subjects discussed included marketing and promotion strategies, expectations from the graduates of tourism and hospitality programs, hotel investment projects and the current crisis in the tourism industry in Turkey. Minister answered questions from the students and promised to meet with them again in the near future.
