Drift with the Wind
COME FLY WITH US!

BİLHAVK welcomes everybody who would like to start paragliding. This semester BİLHAVK, Bilkent Havacılık Kulübü (Bilkent Aviation Club), will be organizing another paragliding course. Almost 40 people completed the beginner's course last year and received certification.

Paragliding beginner training courses start with 8 hours of theoretical lessons which set the background for aviation and paragliding. In these lessons, basic flight principles, the structure of the paraglider, basic macro-micro meteorology information, the techniques to cope with emergency situations and first aid are taught.

After the theoretical classes, the students start using the paragliders for ground skimming. The students pull the paraglider up to the top of the hill and then run with it. Those who complete the ground training are ready to FLY. Every student completes 10 flights to get the certificate.

For course registration and more information, visit the aviation club desk which will be open from 25 - 28 October in the following places:

1- FEASS main hall between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
2- FEASS building next to the security desk between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
3- Kıraç Restaurant Entrance between 11 a.m and 1 p.m.
4- East Campus Cafe Express between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Interested people can register at the desks during these 4 days.

If you want to feel the joy of the third dimension this is your chance. Come and FLY WITH US!
