Dear Editor,
I am a 4th year Bilkent student staying in the 52nd Dormitory. I am writing you this letter because of the problem I am having with my internet connection -
a problem that I've had for more than a month now. This internet connection problem is unfortunately not mine alone but afflicts all students who have computers in their rooms on Main Campus, especially in those dormitories 50 and above (as Mr. Aydın Karabaş of BCC has pointed out).
May I remind you once again that as 4th year students we have many responsibilities. Senior projects are only part of these and, as you can imagine, the internet is one of the most important resources for us. It has been said that this problem has occurred because of dormitory construction work near us, but I think we shouldn't suffer because of this. We were charged for this internet service at the beginning of the semester and I cannot understand why it is taking such a long time to repair it. I hope the people in charge of this repair work will not lose any more time and give this important resource back to us. In my opinion to have this service back again is our right. I hope our voice is heard!
