The American Football Club, also known as "The Bilkent Judges", is now in competition with thirteen other teams throughout Turkey. Supported by the Physical Education and Sports Center, they have already played a total of six games, with five wins and only one loss. Quite an achievement! 
The idea was conceived by three management students: Cihan, Hürşehit and Alkan, who got together with some of their friends and formed the American Football Club within the framework of the Student Union. In a very short time their hard work, commitment and dedication paid off and special equipment was purchased for the team.
If you're not familiar with American football, why not come and watch the team practice. You're sure to enjoy the excitement of this challenging game. Practice sessions are on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. on the East Campus playing grounds, just behind the cafeteria.
